We know the start of the year has been a busy one for many, so we’re sending a belated but very warm New Year’s greeting from all of us at Grain.
As always, we’re kicking off the year with fresh flavours, fun events (especially for whisky lovers!), and a few teasers for what’s to come in the next few months.
New Lunch Menu for January
Kick off your weekdays with our new lunch menu, now live online and in your inbox via our recent email campaign.
Start with a warming weekly soup or a fresh garden salad before choosing from our daily mains:
- Monday: Southern Fried Chicken Wrap (CHF 23) or Veg Chili and Rice Bowl (CHF 21)
- Tuesday: Salmon Florentine (CHF 23) or Wild Mushroom Risotto (CHF 21)
- Wednesday: Veal Schnitzel (CHF 23) or Penne Arrabbiata (CHF 21)
- Thursday: Grain Meatballs (CHF 23) or Wild Mushroom Pie (CHF 21)
- Friday: Fish and Chips (CHF 23) or Veg & Mushroom Bourguignon with Mash Potato (CHF 21)
For those craving something heartier, our January burgers are not to be missed: the Spicy Alpine Appenzeller Burger or the Brisket Burger are waiting for you!
Fancy a sweet treat? Finish your meal with a sweet treat, such as the Double Chocolate Fudge Brownie or Crème Brûlée (CHF 9.50 each).
Brunch, Now Better Than Ever

Our Bottomless Brunch is on every Saturday and Sunday at Grain. Choose one of our usual brunch menu items and upgrade to bottomless drinks all for CHF 50.
And keep your eyes peeled… a brand-new brunch menu is coming soon, packed with fresh seasonal ideas that will make your weekend mornings even more delicious.
Spring A-La-Carte Update
With the new year underway, we’re also preparing a spring refresh for our a-la-carte menu.
Expect vibrant, seasonal ingredients, exciting flavour combinations, North American ingredients, and a few surprises from our chefs.

2026 Events: Whiskey Tastings & More
Our events calendar for 2026 is filling up fast, and oh boy, have we got some fun in store for you.
First up, we’re thrilled to announce a whiskey tasting in collaboration with C. Dully Selection, a project founded in 2019 in direct response to the changing nature of the whisky world.
This team travels to warehouses and cellars to find exceptional casks to share with whisky-loving friends.
More details will follow soon, so keep an eye on our channels for your chance to explore some of the finest whiskeys in town.

Trivia fans, this one is for you. Our weekly quiz is back and better than ever.
Every Tuesday at 8:00 pm, join quizmaster Simon for a night of brain-teasing fun, teams, prizes, and plenty of laughs.
