May Bulletin: A Summer of Events, Sport and Great Times at Grain
May marks the start of the summer fun, and we sure are heading into a packed summer at Grain! Prepare for a season filled with major sporting moments, live events and plenty of reasons to gather with friends to enjoy fresh food and beers.
From world-class football to tastings, live music and menu updates, something is happening for everyone over the coming months. Here’s what you won’t want to miss…
World Cup Fever Arrives At Grain
The FIFA World Cup 2026 (11th June to 19th July) is set to bring serious energy to Grain this summer. We will be screening all of the World Cup action and drama in our Zurich bar using our projector setup.
For matches during regular opening hours, simply book as usual and enjoy the game alongside great food and drinks. For late-night and early-morning fixtures, we are offering exclusive closed-door screenings available by advance booking.
Choose from two packages:
- Big Game Drinks Package – CHF40 (includes four drinks: tap beer, wine, spirit & mixer, soft drinks or hot drinks)
- Big Game Drinks & Food Package – CHF60 (includes drinks plus special food menu options)
Spaces will be limited, so booking ahead is essential to secure your place and soak up the atmosphere!
Help Choose Our New Wine List – Wine Event 6th May
Fancy a glass? On 6th May, we are hosting a unique wine tasting event in collaboration with MeinWein.
Guests will have the chance to sample over 20 wines and share their feedback, helping us shape our new wine list for 2026. It’s an interactive evening and a great opportunity to discover something new.
Father’s Day at Grain
Join us for Father’s Day at Grain on the 7th June, Dad can enjoy a free tap beer as part of the celebration. A simple way to make the day that bit more memorable.
Beer Tasting with St Laurentius – 21st May
On 21st May, we welcome St Laurentius for a special tasting event at Grain.
Expect five standout beers, including new releases, presented alongside insights from the brewers and Zurich-based beer sommelier Sandro Wirth.

Live Music with Kerben – 30th May
On 30th May, local band Kerben will perform live from 8:30pm at Grain!
Their sound blends indie rock with emotional, reflective storytelling, creating a set that moves between powerful and intimate moments — with great Grain hospitality to complete the evening.
Terrace Season Has Arrived
With warmer days ahead, our terrace is now open for business.
It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed drink, a meal with friends, or simply soak up the sunshine with the best craft beers in Zurich on the menu.
New Lunch and Brunch Menus, and Updated Specials
Our refreshed lunch and brunch offerings bring even more flavour to your week at Grain.
Expect standout burger specials like the Maxx Smash and Truffle Mushroom, alongside rotating weekly specials such as Massaman curry and seasonal risotto.
Whisky Event Coming Soon
