I discovered photography in 1997. Since then I take pictures from time to time and make prints by myself. Like with all other sorts of arts I am fascinated by those works and artists that seem to get highest emotional effect with tremendous simplicity. Consequently I do neither produce the perfect situation nor work with a lot of 'technical gadgets'. If a story or emotional potential is implicit in a scene or scenery I take a picture. If the print still contains it, it is a success. Some of the photographers I like most are Paul Almásy, Josef Koudelka, WeeGee and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Pictures of people always seem to tell stories... These are taken in Zurich in 1997. Find more on the page about our joint projects: Exhibition in January 2000.
O.K. - you're right - these pictures do not contain emotions nor do they tell you stories. Never mind. They are taken in the Canton of Ticino in 2000.
That's it for the moment...
